The Gothic Quarter is located at the city center and is also the oldest neighborhood in Barcelona.

In this Walking Tour, we’ll talk about the foundation of Barcelona City by the Romans and its evolution to the early 20th century, and how Barcelona grew above the late-medieval wall.

We’ll start by walking almost in a circle, so we finish close to the meeting point, next to the place where the old city of Barcelona wall was demolished to open the city center to the Medieval Harbor.
Then, we’ll take tons of pictures for your social media 😉 , and embrace all the History and beauty that the Gothic Quarter has to offer.

Due to the nature of the tour, there are some pieces of advice that are important to follow so we can make the best of our time. We´re gonna be walking for a long time, so it’s important to put on sunscreen and wear a comfortable outfit. The Cathedral has a dress code, so please, shoulders, back and knees, must be covered. To find the guide at the meeting point, just search for an umbrella with our logo and remember he’s gonna be waiting for you at the meeting point 10 minutes before the tour starts.
In the Gothic Quarter, you can find the oldest store in Barcelona, the name is Cerería Subirà, built in 1761. Another curiosity: Can Culleretes is the second oldest restaurant in the whole of Spain with more than 228 years receiving customers!
