Hi! My name is Masiel, I´m 33 YO and I was born and raised in La Habana, Cuba, so I´m Caribbean material 100%.
I´ve always been a really sociable person, I have a lot of friends (true friends) and my best quality is the happiness that I bring to everyone around me.
I like to talk A LOT and most of the time I have no filter, that´s what makes me so reliable and original, and also that is why I have so many good friends.
Over the years I´ve grown a thing for languages and I always try to learn more from the ones I already know. I studied English at the International School of Havana when I was 9 and 10 YO, and after kept doing it on my own. Later at the University, I started with the French, but I never finished it, because I came to Spain and now in Barcelona, I´m learning some Catalan.
I have a degree in Accounting, Finance and Auditing from the University of Havana, which was a very nice time there and I had a blast and too much party.
In 2013 I landed in Madrid to study an MBA and at 2017 I moved into Barcelona to open my horizon. During this time in Spain I´ve travelled (not as much as I wanted, but as much as I could pay with my student salary) and had wonderful experiences on every trip.
The real adventure began in Barcelona when I started working in a driving school as a salesperson and I found part of my passion for selling and working with clients in a front desk. The second job I had in Barcelona was at an Agency that performed tours in Sagrada Familia and Park Güell, I supposed to work only 4 hours, but I never did, my bosses were very happy with me so I worked full time every day. I was there for a year and it was something completely different: I had to improve my social skills because the cultural differences between the clients and me were huge, I learned how to lower my tone (I´m Cuban so we talk very very loud) I met a lot of people from different nationalities and it was an amazing experience.
By working there, I saw the possibility of doing things in a better way and this idea of the website popped up and I´m trying to create something different from what already exists. I truly believe in quality more than quantity, so for me is important to achieve a level of quality that people can afford.
I have all my heart in this project and I hope the people that come to Barcelona choose us to make the best of their trip and leaves with a remarkable experience.
