Most people that have visited Barcelona agree on one thing: It´s an amazing city! Ok, But Why is this? What can I see here that could be breathtaking? I´ll organize the highlights according to my criteria.
“My boss is not in a hurry” This is the phrase Gaudi used to say when he was talking about Sagrada Familia`s construction. Gaudi’s last work of art is still in construction and is waiting for you in Carrer de Mallorca, 401.
Inspired by the Legend of Sant Jordi, Gaudí created this masterpiece. Located in Passeig de Gràcia, 43, Casa Batlló opens its doors to visitors who want to enjoy the greatness it has to offer.
Casa Milà (La Pedrera)
Sagrada Familia was Gaudi´s last project, but he wasn’t able to see it finished (the construction is still in process), but then you realize there’s a place he finished… full disclosure: that place is Casa Milà. Located in Passeig de Gràcia, 92 is waiting for your pictures.
You want to by a souvenir from Barcelona and you go inside the shop, then you see numerous pieces with a lizard shape, but you´ve been already in Sagrada Familia, The Gothic, Montjuic, Casa Milà, Casa Batlló and you haven’t seen such a thing! Ah-ha! The Park Güell is the place. Located in Carrer d´Olot, 11, you can access to the main entry/exit.
So far these are my favorites, when you come and visit Barcelona we can show you around and you can see the hand of Gaudi in this wonderful city!
See you in my next post!
